Eye of the Tiger

    Everything starts with one thought. The power of the human mind is beyond measure. It can build a skyscraper, fly to the moon, cure a disease, and rule an entire country. All humans are made of the same matter. I feel as if most individuals do not realize their full potential. I strongly believe the only difference between you and Barack Obama is one thing: focus. You probably think I’m insane but say what you will. What do you think about on a daily basis? I challenge you to write down one goal and make it your hardest. Forget the rest of the list. I do not care how crazy it is and how far out of reach it may seem.  I do not care if you want a master's degree, to lose 100 pounds, or to get out of debt. If you put every ounce of your focus into this one objective there is not an excuse in the world you can give me, except that “I lost focus."  What is the difference between you and Barack Obama, Richard Branson, or Oprah Winfrey? Please do not say opportunity. I think Obama would punch you in the face if he heard you. It is that they never lost focus, they never gave up, and they would rather die than fail. “Most people let opportunity pass them by because it looks like work.”--Thomas Edison. You can always go back to school, work extra hours, and change your entire life. So find something worth fighting for. Eat, sleep, and breathe that one goal, and I promise you prosperity.  There is no way you can fail if you never lose focus.
